A Network of IT Expertise
“The network effect is something I don’t think TeamLogic IT talks enough about. That ability to scale to meet a client’s needs because you all operate as a network of professionals. You pitch in, advise each other, draw on each other’s resources. That’s something that doesn’t get talked about a lot.
We have over a thousand engineers in our network and more than 250 owners, and that number continues to grow annually. The reason I was really impressed with the group of owners when I was thinking about getting involved with TeamLogic IT was really the professionalism and the ability to call any of those owners in an effort to try to solve a business challenge.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve reached out to an owner in, say Florida, to ask, ‘Hey, my client is traveling and needs help today. Would it be possible to have them stop by with their computer so you could take a look at it for us?'”
Understanding Risk Avoidance
“The biggest challenge that I see these days is really understanding risk avoidance. Understanding that we need to take the conversation, not necessarily from an individual that supports an IT environment, but to somebody who is responsible for the financials. Someone who understands what a downtime event costs an organization or business.
Imagine if certain things didn’t go the way that we wanted them to. What does that look like? In some cases, the guy it concerns is also the chief guy in the business because he’s actually the only guy. In a larger organization you might have multiple decision makers. That’s something you run into pretty often.
‘It’s nice to work with a company that, starting with the CEO and going all the way to customer service, accounts payable, and other departments, understands NUSO is a partner-first company.’
Sometimes, especially in the small business space, a decision maker wears three hats and the reason that they’re looking to talk to TeamLogic IT is because they don’t want to talk about technology anymore. They have bigger fish to fry. So there’s a lot of times where I’ve learned, in my years of working with small business owners, it really boils down to either somebody that controls the checkbook, the owner who’s doing it has a side job, or somebody who was de facto given the responsibility because they were slightly technical.”
Fax is Still With Us
“I still see interest in faxing. It’s interesting that smaller and medium-sized businesses that don’t have one of those behemoth type photocopiers that can do, you know, 9,000 copies an hour and has a dedicated fax line to it, are very interested in saying, ‘Well, geez, let’s go fax right? That’s easy enough.’
The beautiful part about my partnership with NUSO is I can direct them towards the IPFax solution. We can go that route, or I can direct them to get an ATA module that would allow them to bolt on, plug into their photocopy, if they must have their faxes print out on that machine. Either way, NUSO supports me with that telephone number, which is great.
We will absolutely continue to support fax as long as we have to. I think it’s really about industries like, medical specifically, and government, right? Quite frankly, I have to send a fax to the Department of Workforce Development every year.”
