NUSO cares about privacy and combating robocall / robotext intrusions.
If you are experiencing unwanted calls or messages from a number you believe is owned by NUSO, please submit a complaint.
We diligently enforce our Acceptable Use Policy and investigate any complaint against the services on our network.
In addition to reviewing complaints received on this form, NUSO has implemented numerous policies to combat illegal robocalling and robotexting, including, but not limited to:
Are you receiving annoying calls you think are coming from NUSO? Let’s clear things up!
At NUSO, we’re in the business of providing telephone numbers to other Regulated Service Providers and directly to known, vetted customers. NUSO does NOT make unsolicited sales calls or spam calls.
So, what’s happening? Let’s dive into the two main possibilities.
Most of the time, these unwanted calls are from scammers. They’re crafty, using technology to disguise their calls, making it appear as though they’re calling from a local, legitimate number – maybe even one that looks like it’s from us.
But here’s the catch, these calls aren’t routed through our network!
They’re coming from somewhere else entirely. Unfortunately, NUSO does not have control over this because these calls and texts are routed through a different service provider’s network to get to you.
If you’re receiving these calls, the best action is to contact your own phone service provider (like T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.). They have tools and measures in place to help block and track these nuisance calls.
Occasionally, a phone number originally issued by NUSO to a regulated service provider may be resold multiple times, ultimately landing with individuals or entities that misuse it. If you receive unwelcome calls from such a number, it could, in rare instances, be linked back to our services.
If you let us know the number that called you, along with your number, the date, and time of the call, we can investigate. If the call passed through our network, we’ll take steps to stop it. But remember, most of the time, these calls are from scammers, and the calls are not actually passing through the NUSO network.
We understand how frustrating unwanted calls can be, and we’re here to help. By working together with your phone service provider, we can tackle this issue head-on. Remember, we’re on your side in the fight against Spam and scam texts and calls.
For more assistance or to report an issue, please reach out to NUSO directly by completing the Acceptable Use Complaint form.
